World

2004-03-06 3:00 p.m.

It’s finally over. The Battle Damage Assessment is complete. One of the last hurdles of my life has been completed. On the 5 day of the third month of the year two thousand and four years after the birth of Christ, everything changed in and instant.

I don’t want to tell the whole story. It’s too painful and meaningless to do so. Back in ACS, one of our themes for the year was” Fight the good fight of faith.” Another was “Shine like stars in the universe”. This year’s is “soar on wings like eagles.” I never bothered too much about these themes, dismissing them as the usual goal setters. Now as I look back, their meaning comes to life. Have Ilieved up to all of them? Will I ever rise above all and be the best? Oh yes, speaking of the best, the old motto, “The best is yet to be” comes to mind. How far in the future will the best shine? Have I gotten what I should receive?

Too many thoughts. Typical me again. Anyway, congratulations to all who did well, especially A04. I end of with this song, which although is repetitive captures the meaning of life.

World

Now,

I found,

that the world is round

and of course it rains everyday.

Living tomorrow,

where in the world will I be tomorrow?

How far am I able to see?

Or am I needed here?

Now,

I found,

that the world is round

and of course it rains everyday

If I remember

all of the things I have done,

I'd remember

all of the times I've gone wrong.

Why do they keep me here?

Now,

I found,

that the world is round

and of course it rains everyday.

And now,

I found,

that the world is round

and of course it rains everyday.

And now,

I found,

that the world is round

and of course it rains everyday.

And now,

I found,

that the world is round ...
