Those that never were 2007-12-26 12:04 a.m. If your so regular a reader of this site and a sort of close person in my environment, you’ll of course notice some missing parts in the chronological events of my site. There are also other gaps, entries on issues, whether mundane or serious, that were planned to be placed down but just did not appear. Like deleted scenes from movies, like the first drafts of a novel, I now present to you the entries that never were: The Parachutist: Was planned in around November/December 2003. Basically, it was going to be a descriptive story of a parachutist journey to the ground. Yet, it was also meant as a metaphorical story of my JC life, reflecting all the conflicts, the challenges, the “fighting for the top” efforts and finally, how everything ended with a poof—like how the parachutist hits the ground. This was really going to placed down in Jan 2004 or so , but I gave too little though to it and besides, thinking so much about such days was exactly something to busy myself with. I rather throw those times away, though I don’t think I have completely. Of Leaders and Leadership: I believe this was planned in 2004 or maybe 2005. The thought came to mind after viewing leaders around me during that period. You should know what I mean; if you don’t ask me via email. It was a major entry to place down and after writing other entries I decided that it should be placed due to personal concerns. Speech speaking Operation Market Garden: the application to working life For some reason or the other I had been watching A Bridge too far in November and December of 2005. Perhaps it was just to kill of boredom or the drilling of military manoeuvres in my head. Anyway, after watching it like half and dozen times, I found that the mistakes made by the Allies there could be analogous to the mistakes that we could make in real life, particularly office life. I was doing to draw about ten lessons to be learnt and the entry almost came up until time took its toll on me. You might see something as a new enter in the future. It’s how we play the game This was going to be a entry broadly on wargaming, not the specific tactics, but skills needed and such. It was dismissed because it might violate err certain legislations. Simple. Enemy Identification If you do recall, I did want to post an entry entitled such. I shan’t go into the specifics of this one for personal reasons and I don’t think I’ll post it ever. Why? Email me to find out. Girls, Girls, Girls ver 3.0 Was going to post this some time in September 2007 just before I returned to Birmingham. It was going to be a stark contrast from my earlier entries— Girls, Girls and Girls and the second version. As you might guess, it would draw a large comparison between the females I may have encountered in my earlier years compared to those now and it would have been an entry on describing the perfect girl. I also planned to place a little statistics; something of plotting the qualities of girls versus time and performing a regression analysis, paying tribute to my Stats lecturers and tutors. The entry never surface because of err, certain things that were seen and thought of. This is another entry that may occur in the future. Well, there were others that were thought of but simply not even planned. Memories of them fade. Ok, let’s get back to business…
