About Me
The writer is currently an Undergraduate at the University of Birmingham, UK. He wishes to espouse an amalgamation of entries and thoughts in this site with the aim not just to entertain but to provoke discussion, especially on his write ups on social issues and current affairs. Apart from heavily engaging in this activity, he enjoys a wide range dramas and musicals, especially those that carry insightful messages. He is also a self proclaimed music critic, a history buff and most recently a novelist and a scriptwriter. He holds a strong interest in the workings of macro-economics, particularly international trade policies and international development, Post-Modernism/Post-Structuralism as well as International Political Economy. Times like these... *

Time like these, I’ll just like two wishes, either two, to be granted.
First, I’ll like a house. Not a mansion, just a house good enough with a garden for strolling around during periods of deep thinking. Inside the house, a kitchen stocked with all the ingredients from all corners of the globe and full cutlery and crockery set. Oh yes, also a library. With enough shelves to fill all the IPE and development books and a high speed internet connection with free access to all the academic journals of the world. I’ll spend my days on research and reports.
Or provide me with enough funds to set up an organization that focuses on positive change in the Third World in the areas of trade, growth, and livelihood. I know exactly which British and well Singaporean colleagues and friends to rope in for this. We’ll have a wonderful time and it will be all of the betterment of millions in the developing world
