Of dribs and drabs... * 2009-06-05 8:13 p.m. Of dribs and drabs: 1) Don’t want to talk about my last examinations in Birmingham 2) Exercised my constitutional right and international right to vote. That’s all I’ve got to say 3) Have been digging through other Toto songs such as “Lea”, “Mushanga”, “A Thousand Years”. As Jeff Porcaro, the beacon of Toto despite him not being physically remarked, social issues were kept out of Toto songs until their families came by. I must say that Toto songs real conduct powerful messages through out the years. They aren’t ear blasting songs—they carry essential themes as seen in “Africa”, “Only the Children” and “Bottom of Your Soul”. 4) The same group founding members save Bobby Kimball will be inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame this October. It goes to show that despite the numerous critical commentaries about their performances and music, despite being disliked by their own home crowd, they finally receive an award they all rightly should have been given years ago Updates much later….
